Salary: £27,000

Soil Association Certification Ltd is the UK's leading company certifying organic food, produce and non-food products. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Soil Association membership charity.

We are seeking a motivated individual with experience of health and beauty formulation. You will provide guidance to new applicants and existing licensees on health and beauty standards and their interpretation, particularly in relation to acceptable formulas and ingredients. You will also manage a portfolio of specialised organic licensees and answer enquiries relating to their certification and other technical issues.

Your skills and experience should include:

• Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related area
• Knowledge of Soil Association health and beauty standards would be an advantage
• Substantial experience in the health and beauty formulation and manufacturing sector
• Specific experience in the organic health and beauty sector would be an advantage
