- Bachelor's Degree in international relations, environmental studies or other relevant field. Other academic disciplines may be suitable depending on work experience. Master's Degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of work experience;
- Interest in or experience with environmental issues, especially forest issues;
- Great analytical and strategic thinking skills;
- Ability to write in an organized, clear, and articulate manner in English. Additional written and oral fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, or Bahasa Indonesia are a plus;
- Communicate clearly and compellingly to a wide range of audiences;
- Results focused, with a strong team orientation, and the ability to work well under pressure;
- Commitment to WRI’s mission and institutional values;
- Open only to applicants who have existing work authorization in Malaysia and/or Singapore.
Salary and benefits
