My client is a leading renewable energy providers globally and have a very strong business plan and balance sheet. They specialize in the manufacturing of silicon modules and cells with a strong market presence in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific regions.
Position Overview: they are seeking an experienced and motivated technologist to join the Research and Development team in Oslo. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a talented group of scientists to develop and implement new solar cell repair processes. The position is ideal for a seasoned technology expert with prior leadership experience. Ideal candidates will thrive in the environment of a rapidly expanding company and will be pro-active problem solvers with project and program leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities:-
- · Manage and develop the R&D team in Oslo
- · Ensure safe and environmentally sound practices are conducted in the Oslo laboratory
- · Process development, optimization, and implementation, including equipment specification
- · Project management encompassing both internal and external team members
- · Technology analysis
Education:-
- · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science field
- · Master’s degree in Engineering or Science field or PHD preferred
Core Requirements:-
- · 5 years professional experience with at least 2 years spent managing highly-skilled teams
- · Proven project management skills
- · Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives working with cross-functional and culturally diverse teams in an industrial environment
- · Experience in process development and implementation
- · Previous experience working in the PV industry is desirable
