Solar Research & Development

As Cell R&D Manager in the Research and Development group, you will be responsible for the cell R&D of new technology nodes. There will be a strong emphasis on SLIVER cell R&D, in particular improving product efficiency and lowering cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cells with progressively increasing cell efficiency.
• Lead cell R&D through the feasibility and proof-of-concept phases
• Lead appropriate engineering based continuous improvement activities in the wafer/cell related areas
• Developing low-cost and high yield manufacturing process for converting silicon wafers into processed SLIVER wafers.
• Drive rapid and focused R&D in the wafer/cell area to deliver continuing competitive advantage for the SLIVER technology.
• Work with Module Engineering and Marketing to develop new products based on SLIVER technology and to better understand and improve existing SLIVER products.
• Manage and develop the scientists, engineers and technicians both within and external to their team.
