Description

My client is a market leader in residential and commercial solar solutions in the USA. They specialize in designing and providing complete solar turnkey solutions and over a number of years have developed a strong reputation in the market for doing so. They are now looking for a sales representative to join their team in New Jersey.


Core Criteria:
The
sales representative will be responsible for driving sales in Northern New Jersey.  

 

Responsibilities:-

 

  • Serve as primary contact to key accounts
  • Manage executive level relationships with customer and drive sales within accounts
  • Develop strategic corporate account plans and lead plan implementation across divisions
  • Negotiating terms and closing deals
  • Manage and recruit strategic partners, generate revenue from and maintaining senior management relationships with key distributors, system integrators and dealers
  • Provide leadership to start-up residential and light commercial team from design to implementation of channel sales model including marketing, product offering, pricing and segmentation

 

 

Education:-

 

  • ·         Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or comparable (Master’s degree a plus)

 

Core Requirements:-

 

  • ·         Three or more years of solar industry experience
  • ·         Result-driven approach
  • ·         Knowledge of Solar industry and competitors
  • ·         Proactive attitude, high initiative to take on challenges and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ·         High reliability and ability to work under pressure
  • ·         Excellent teamwork, communication and intercultural skills

 

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

 

Key Skills:-

  • Solar PV, negotiations experience, solar industry sales experience
