Solar PV Sales, Bulgaria

My client is a leading solar photovoltaic panel manufacturer. A leader in the production of cells, modules and inverters, they are looking to expand their operations in Central and Eastern Europe and as part of their strategic business review are looking to hire a sales manager to cover Bulgaria and potentially take responsibility for the wider region over time.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Developing and maintaining a client base of installers and distributors
• Educating new customers of the benefits of crystalline silicon solar photovoltaic modules
• Explaining installation process and maintenance to customers
• Frequent travel to pitch for new business
• Attending road shows and conferences in order to increase brand awareness and market share
• Close collaboration with colleagues who are regional managers for Western European countries
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director for Europe

Skills and qualifications:

• Fluency in Bulgarian and one other regional language (eg. Polish, Czech, Hungarian)
• At least 3 years’ sales experience in the renewable energy sector
• Willing to travel at least 50% of the time
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
• Strong technical knowledge of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) solar panels
