Solar PV Project Director, France

My client is a global commercial solar PV Turnkey supplier for roof top and ground mounted PV systems. They develop, design, construct and maintain solar PV plants across the globe and provide services the whole way down the supply chain.  They are a customer orientated organisation with a world class reputation, an in depth knowledge of the newest solar PV technologies and an efficient low cost execution strategy.

Due to the exciting technology and effective strategic vision the company is expanding into France and is looking for a solar PV project director to manage the solar PV projects. The size of the projects range from 0.5mw to 8mw, on a commercial and small utility scale.

Roles include:

• Working on site to oversee the activities of the business and manage the onsite engineers
• Explaining designs to clients where necessary

• Generate and solicit new proposals, working with solar PV integrators across France and Europe
• Developing new business and entering new areas
• Travelling frequently to deal with managing installations on site

Skills and qualifications needed:

• 10 years in project management
• 6 years in the solar PV industry
• A keen interest in the solar PV industry and a passion for the growth of the renewable energy sector
• An engineering background
• The ability to work France
• Fluent in French
