My client is a leading integrator of residential and commercial scale solar PV plants in the Middle East. My client is a firm believer in the production of solar PV plants with the highest yield at the lowest costs thereby providing alternative yet affordable energy solutions. They are currently looking for a project developer with extensive PV plant design and construction experience that has worked on multi-MW projects to join their very successful organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a lead position within an already well established player in the market.

CORE CRITERIA
My client is seeking a Solar Project Developer, who has a strong background in the design and construction of solar PV plants.

Responsibilities:
• Design large scale solar PV plants

• Lead the construction and integration of commercial power plants

• Define the bill of materials

• Identify, assess and create project development opportunities in the Middle East
• Conduct market analysis and feasibility and risk assessment studies on a daily basis
• Will be developing multiple projects simultaneously to strict deadlines and to above satisfactory standards
• Assessing profitability of projects and successful development including the preparation of land for construction
• Defining and working within budgetary constraints

Requirements:
• Proven track record in the design, construction and management of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects
• Degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification of relevance
• Excellent communications skills
• Must have excellent (spoken, written and reading) English and language skills
• Must be willing to relocate to Middle East
• Excellent commercial experience
• Good oral and written communications skills
