Solar PV Operations Manager, Japan

My client is a global provider of solar PV (photovoltaic) solutions globally. They are experiencing successful growth in their company globally and are looking to add to their team in Japan, currently they are looking for an operations manager to take care of their efforts in Japan.

Position Overview:

As the operations manager for my client, you will be responsible for managing sales contracts, execute procurement contracts and manage the support activities across Japan. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strong operations manager to take a positive step in their career in a globally recognised brand within the solar PV sector.

Responsibilities:

• Establish linkage with my client and the sub contractor to ensure all installation and operational issues/ customer complaints are dealt with on a timely basis
• To manage the maintenance and repair programme and planned Inverter replacement programme
• Manage and execute sales contracts and customer complaints/feedback
• To set up payment procedures to ensure the timely payment of agreed and correctly documented installations.
• Manage a rapidly expanding team
• Coordinate with component suppliers and execute procurement contracts
• Report directly to the General Manager in Japan

Education:

Educated to BSc level in engineering or related field

Core Requirements:

• ·         4-5 years of experience in an operations role with a strong technical background
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detect realistic solutions
• Must speak fluent English
• Be eligible to work in Japan without restriction

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• Excellent presentation
