Solar PV Business Developer, Abu Dhabi, AED 20k+ per month plus outstanding commission structure

 

A solar business developer is needed in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis.

 

My client is a leading project developer in the MENA region with a reputation for excellence and achievement. They have established a solid base for the development of solar energy projects across the region and are quickly developing in Asia. They have made a name for themselves in the market so they are preferred project developer and manager with utility scale and commercial clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading organisation and play a pivotal part in their growth over the next 2-5 years.

CORE CRITERIA:

My client is seeking an experienced business developer to substantially contribute to the expansion of the growth of photovoltaic projects in the Middle East and Asia. They require an astute individual with good knowledge of the Middle Eastern market and business culture. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering that will allow them to fully understand the solutions my client aims to provide. This role will suit someone with the tenacity and drive of a sales orientated individual.  Fluency Arabic is a perquisite for this position.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain the firm as the leading supplier of solar photovoltaic power solutions in the MENA and Asia region
  • Establish a strong portfolio of prospective clients willing to engage in large scale projects
  • Proactively source new leads and clients through an organised and structured approach to the market
  • Liaise with the business development director regarding your market approach and the success achieved through this
  • Over-reach standard company targets on a regular basis
  • Represent the company in high-level business development meetings with potential clients
  • Establish and develop relationships with key contacts within the industry, government and high level executives.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Have excellent knowledge of the renewable energy market
  • 3 + years business development experience
  • Target orientated individual with a proven track record of success in solar energy
  • Bilingual Arabic and English
  • Work well under pressure
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Excellent written, oral  and interpersonal communication skills
