This is an opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful solar integrators in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:
The Solar Power Consultant/Sales Representative will generate sales proposals and presentations to a wide array of customers. S/he will manage sales activities to ensure a robust pipeline of prospective clients selling the unique benefits of our solar installation systems.

S/he will provide in-home consultation to prospective customers, assisting in the generation of system design and site plans. The Sales Representative must be able to take detailed measurements of proposed solar system sites, and is responsible for post-installation follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2 years of sales experience in the home improvement, construction, roofing or electrical arena
  • Specific solar sales experience a plus
  • Strong technical acumen, including technical and economic aspects of solar or other high-tech products and services
  • Experience developing sales strategies in targeted demographic markets
  • Must thrive in a quota-driven environment, managing and developing a pipeline of contacts and opportunities within an assigned territory
  • Ability to drive revenue with a focus on achievement of goals. Highly confident and goal oriented. Self-starting with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to speak confidently to home and business owners about the benefits of solar electricity. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for green energy — specifically solar electric system sales
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Computer savvy with the ability to happily maintain daily reporting metrics in Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor's degree required
