Real Goods Solar Power Consultants develop and build strong relationships with homeowners and small business owners. They actively identify and pursue sales leads, address customers’ questions and concerns, and meet sales quotas for solar electric systems by leveraging networking activities, referral marketing, grassroots marketing campaigns, and following up on company-provided sales leads. Solar Power Consultants will spend much of their time managing their sales funnel through Salesforce.com and traveling to and visiting with prospective customers at their homes. This position requires a person who is outgoing, friendly, and naturally enjoys working with a wide variety of individuals and personalities. The ideal candidate will be personable with a high degree of customer service and professionalism, and have excellent computer skills.
