My client is actively seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead a team of talented and able engineers in expanding the technological base of their products. This role will suit an individual with a rich background in renewable energy, especially solar and with extensive exposure to inverter production. My client is keen to see candidates who have dedicated their careers to developing technologies within the renewable energy sector and is well versed in the technical elements of the solar energy process. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as well as impressive electrical engineering qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers working to ensure the stability and efficiency of the product
• Manage the development of new, cutting edge technologies that will propel my client into a leading position within the market
• Work closely with the senior software engineer on the upcoming inverter developments as well as the maintenance of the current production line.
• Constantly liaise with the managing director of energy at the company with regards to the development strategies to be impacted to ensure the company’s growth
• Manage the implementation of new technologies across the production line

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience in energy electrical engineering, especially renewable energy
• Extensive leadership expertise and experience, preferably leading a team of 15+
• 4+ year solar engineering experience
• Technologies development and implementation experience
• Well organised and structure prone individual
• Driven and passionate about solar energy technologies
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
