Solar Installer

Based in Connecticut, New Jersey or Massachusetts and reporting to the project Superintendent, the Solar Installer will focus on a variety of components of solar energy installations. Solar Installers work alongside Solar Electricians during the system construction phase and will see a project through to commissioning and utility interconnection.

Qualifications:

• Ability to deal with construction team dynamics, execute construction according to plan and work as needed to meet project deadlines required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality craftsmanship as part of a team required.
• Interest in renewable energy required.
• Carpentry, roofing, excavation or heavy machinery operations background preferred.
• Experience working with solar equipment and a proven track record of high-performance installations preferred.
• OSHA-10 preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of previous experience in renewable energy power plant construction preferred.
• Familiarity with market costs for construction materials and procurement experience preferred.
