Suntech Power, the world’s largest manufacturer of solar panels, has an amazing opportunity for someone who is highly motivated, energetic, has some marketing experience, is looking to move forward with a marketing career, and has a strong interest in solar energy. The Marketing Associate, based in the San Francisco headquarters, will have the opportunity to learn, grow, participate in strategy development, work with colleagues globally, and take responsibility for important projects that will drive retail and large project (utility scale) sales in North America.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Creating marketing presentations and materials for the North America sales teams, including web-based and printed collateral, videos and interactive web elements
  • Helping to manage and contributing to customer co-marketing programs
  • Lead generation, management and tracking
  • Trade show planning and support
  • Online properties including newsletters, email blasts and web sites.

 Mandatory Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years relevant marketing experience (specific solar experience not required)
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, decisive team player who can also work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as, good listening skills
  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint (Adobe Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator, video is a plus)
  • High energy, positive attitude and goal driven
