Solar Business Development Manager, Madrid, Spain

My client is the fastest growing solar product manufacturer manufacturing ingot, wafer, solar cell and solar module products, with distribution channels spanning across North America, Europe and Asia. As part of their expansion across Europe, they are looking for an experienced business development manager to develop their operations in Spain.

Responsibilities:-

• Launch  and Market Development of solar module products
• Analysing the clients needs and developing proposals to fit their criteria
• Discuss different options and explain the benefits of solar modules
• Negotiating terms and closing deals
• Working in conjuction with the development, sales and project finance teams
• planning and organizing of projects/ products
• Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar products / projects

Requirements:-

• You will have at least 5 years of business development experience, with an excellent track record
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing solar modules
• Ability to travel frequently to client sites
• You MUST be fluent in Spanish and have the ability to work in Spain
• Experience in selling modules to IPPs, integrators and developers
• Must have strong educational background (MBA would be desirable)
