URS is a leading global environmental consultancy with offices in over 30 countries throughout the world. This position will form part of our growing Environmental team in Saudi Arabia. You will work as an environmental consultant on a variety of soil and groundwater projects within the industrial and oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities include: • Conducting field sampling programs (including collecting, analyzing and interpreting chemical and physical data) • Assisting Project Managers with the preparation of reports summarizing field procedures and results. • Ensuring all projects are carried out to quality and health and safety standards The successful candidate will have: • The ability to interpret chemical data for surface water, soil, soil gas and groundwater • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to write clear and concise technical reports • 5 years experience working on Phase II Environmental Site Assessments including groundwater field sampling and testing • A relevant degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering • Strong analytical skills In return, we offer the opportunity in working for a leading, global environmental consultancy within a growing and professional team.
