Purpose of the job
To provide analysis, design, development and testing services for global applications fundraising, supported by Greenpeace International and offered by 3rd party providers. You will be a key player within a major Fundraising / IT global project which involves the implementation of Blackbaud’s Enterprise CRM fundraising software throughout 26 countries and aims to increase the fundraising revenue of the organization.

You will join the Greenpeace International IT unit that provides IT services to national and regional offices across Europe, the Americas, Asia & the Pacific and Africa. You will report to the Greenpeace International’s IT Project Office.

Key responsibilities
• Participate to the software analysis and design in order to provide specifications for configuration and development
• Maintain and extend legacy fundraising applications in in order to provide Greenpeace staff with the tools they need to do their work
• Configure and extend the new fundraising and online communication platform in order to help the organization meet its goals in digital mobilization
• Write functional and unit tests in order to ensure bug free software that support the organizations fundraising business practices
• Write technical and end user documentation in order to maintain and transfer knowledge
• Review and influence quality standards and methods in order to ensure good quality.

Skills and qualifications
• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 2 years or more experience in software development
• Fluency in two or more of: C#, Visual Basic, Delphi, Python
• Experience with two or more of: Access, SQLServer, Postgresql
• Strong understanding of test methodologies and test case development
• Strong understanding of software design patterns
• Strong understanding of software design tools including UML
• Knowledge of software security standards (OWASP, PCI/DSS)
• Excellent communication skills: fluent in English and ideally another language.

Applicants have to obtain an EU citizenship or work permit holder in Europe. This role could be based in Amsterdam (Netherlands) or being located in any GP office in Europe.
