The Social Media Manager will create, maintain, monitor and analyze Recyclebank’s social networking properties, including Facebook and Twitter, as well as its Live Green section of the website, as part of Recyclebank’s integrated marketing campaigns.

• Develop social media strategy, innovative campaigns, best practices and editorial calendar in alignment with marketing’s acquisition and engagement goals
• Proactively generate and moderate content on Facebook, Twitter, Live Green and editorial blog comment section
• Work with Customer Care to resolve member issues that arise through social media and website channels
• Interface with PR, Digital Strategy, Product Marketing and Account Management for respective check-in and run-down of activities

• At least four years of experience in social media marketing or community management
• Past experience using social media platforms, and management and monitoring tools, such as Buddy Media and HootSuite
• An understanding of viral marketing trends, effective social media strategies, plus effective brand marketing and PR integration
• Bachelor’s degree
