Description

Join an exciting system change organisation!

Swarm Dynamics is a non-profit organisation that harnesses arts and creative thinking to help changemakers engage wider audiences on system change issues. Our aim is to create a powerful counter-narrative to the dominant paradigm of neo-liberal, growth-based economies, and spread awareness and action on solutions.

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic volunteer to help with outreach in the London and Brighton area, and to help us grow our social media presence. As an ambassador for our network and mission you will have opportunity to have high exposure to many interesting organisations and artists in the UK and beyond. You will be a valued member of the core team and welcome to contribute your ideas for growing our organisation and creative interventions in the UK.

Responsibilities:

-       Represent our organisation and network at meetings with artists or NGOs

-       Develop our online presence and reputation

-       Administrate the creation and publishing of content

-       Keep in touch with our artist pool and organise occasional events

-       Identify, reach out to and recruit new artists in the UK

Requirements:

-       You are passionate about, and have some experience or knowledge of environmental issues and system change

-       You believe that we need a more sane, meaningful and sustainable economy

-       You are interested in arts/films/music/games

-       You are good both with computers (especially, social media platforms) and with people

We expect at least one day per week commitment. You can work from home but you must be based in London or the Brighton/Sussex area to be able to attend occasional meetings with our partners. You will gain a variety of experience and we will do our best to tailor tasks to your talents and interests.

To apply, please email your CV and a brief motivation letter to David, david.holyoake@gmail.com by Monday 7th May.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
