SMART Grid Engineering Manager / Snr Engineer

Leading global technology provider is setting up a new SMART Tech Centre in Singapore and focusing on SMART Grids zed SMART Grid Engineering Manager / Snr Engineer role with a new SMART Energy Centre in Singapore as part of a Global MNC.

OVERVIEW: 
– Work with prospective and active clients/end-users to understand SMART Grid requirements and needs. 
– Grow the SMART Grid function in APAC from a start-up team / focus into a full group. 
– Understand technical requirements and evaluate and propose SMART Grid technology solutions including SMART Metering, SMART Grid, AMI, MDMS, and others. 
– Proactively identify and propose technologies for SMART Grid applications. 
– Handle the full cycle including RFQs and related proposals and technology advisory / packaging.

SCOPE: 
– Full APAC coverage but with a focus on SE Asia countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and the like. 
– Individual constributor to start with opportunities to grow into a management focus in the near-term.

COMPANY: Our client is a leading technology provider on a global level. This division is a new focus of the company involving a consolidation of multiple technologies and solutions of the company – based out of Singapore.

ARE YOU QUALIFIED?: 
– Do you have experience working on SMART Grid projects anywhere in the world involving technology evaluation, architecture and integrated solutions? 
– Are you presently working in Singapore, SE Asia or willing to relocate to the region?
