Skills for Sustainable Development project is an ESF funded initiative with the aim of helping unemployed and economically inactive individuals gain employment in low carbon industry sectors. The project will be delivered by about 15 organisations located across the Eastern Region. Key elements of the project include: • Development of a skills needs analysis framework • Carrying out a comprehensive skills needs analysis • Capacity building to deliver low carbon skills training across the East of England, to meet the identified skills shortages • Engaging the unemployed and economically inactive individuals in SSD training • Helping individuals gain employment or progress onto further trainining Objective: The SSD Administrator will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the SSD project.
