We are looking for a Site Supervisor, who is an outstanding team player, with a positive and professional attitude to join our team to undertake projects locally and nationwide. You will be experienced in site supervision and will have demonstrable experience in adhering to site health, safety, environmental and wellbeing standards. We are looking for individuals to be based within commuting distance of our new head office in the Andover area, however as we work nationally, there will be an expectation to travel and stay away from home regularly.

 

We are looking for someone who has experience in working outdoors in environmentally sensitive areas. Staff with experience in working on large infrastructure projects UK wide will be looked on favorably. You will receive ongoing training and development in all aspects of the operational tasks and have a great opportunity for continued progression. We are looking for real go-getters who have a positive work ethic, and a practical and determined approach

 

The role

As a Site Supervisor you will be delivering a variety of environmental enhancement projects including river restoration, fish passage, ecological mitigation and restoration work from concept through to delivery. You will be working alongside hardworking, motivated, and passionate people as part of the Habitats team. 

 

Performance measures 

- Supports the Site Manager with the delivery of the works project and against commercial and financial forecast 

- Effective day-to-day management of site personnel for successful project delivery  

- Effective communication with site team 

- Responsible for completing and submitting all daily records for site  

- Ensures that Health and safety maintain compliance at all times  

- Manages all site resources and materials in line with project budgets and company policies 

- Ensures that people under their line management are managed correctly through regular 1:1s and performance reviews.

  • SSSTS
  • First aid certificate
  • Fire Marshall qualification  
  • TWS
  • Lift supervisor  
  • Full driving license
  • Physically fit and motivated
  • Prepared to stay away Monday to Friday (where necessary)
  • Promoting Health, Safety and Wellbeing within the company 
  • People and line management
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and Organisational skills 
  • A positive can-do attitude  

 

Salary and benefits

  • £28,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
