Summary
The Site QA, Israel reports to the Senior Project Manager of Israel and is responsible to ensure the timely turnaround of documentation issued and received internally and externally. This position will specifically monitor and approve the quality of all work executed on site, including installation of T0 trackers, modules, electrical parts of the plant, concrete pours, other civil works, etc. This position will support the coordination of the activities of Qualification and monitoring of suppliers and contractors for construction. Monitors the performance of quality on site and produces data and reports on performance. He/she liaises with Project managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the Quality site system is functioning properly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• This position will focus on monitoring and approving the quality of all work executed on site, including installation of T0 trackers, modules, electrical parts of the plant, concrete pours, other civil works, etc.
• Assist in performing subcontractor qualification process through analysis of documentation and audit activities;
• Persuading reluctant suppliers / subcontractors to change their way of working to incorporate best quality methods;
• Monitoring performance or subcontractors and suppliers by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
• Interface with PM’s and CM’s constantly
• Support defining site quality procedures for the construction processes
• Perform site quality audits
Qualifications
• Fluent in English
• Good communication skills
• Good Knowledge of applicable norms in the construction, fabrication, and engineering processes
• Mechanical, welding, Electrical and fabrication notions knowledge
• Microsoft OFFICE: good knowledge of excel, Powerpoint, word
Education and/or Experience
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent (5 years)
• At least 2 years experience as Quality Control auditor/manager/Site Quality Engineer
