It is one of the largest of the 46 county wildlife trusts that work together throughout the British Isles as The Wildlife Trusts.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager at our Hanningfield Visitor Centre.

As the Site Manager you are responsible for all aspects of this 7 day operation. As well as overseeing the daily running and management of a busy centre you will be line managing a team of staff and volunteers, creating, planning and promoting events, enhancing the engagement with visitors to site and working in conjunction with our partners Essex and Suffolk Water to maximise all the great opportunities Hanningfield offers.

The ideal candidate will be a positive person that enjoys providing a welcoming visitor experience, thrives in a busy customer facing environment and enjoys a challenge. We are looking for someone with strong people management and leadership skills that has experience of working in a busy and reactive setting.

Please note this role will require regular weekend working, usually alternate weekends, as part of a rota.
