Sessional Education Officer

Salary: £10.16 per hour

Contract: Zero hours

Based: Woolley Firs, Maidenhead

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

We are looking for outgoing, knowledgeable educators to lead sessions with children. These sessions will usually be based at our new education centre near Maidenhead, but will also include leading sessions at other nature reserves, at schools and, possibly, at our other education centres (Sutton Courtenay and College Lake).

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, experience delivering environmental education activities to Primary-aged children and will have a good general knowledge of wildlife and habitats.
