Entec is an AMEC company and a leading multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy with over 750 staff and associates based in 19 offices around the UK. Due to an expanding customer profile and recent successes, we are looking to expand our renewables team with a Principal or Senior Consultant, dependant on experience. You will be a Renewable Energy Specialist, be exceptional in your field and respected by your colleagues. You will be able to show an in-depth understanding of the industry and wind project development process and will have been involved in all aspects of project development and would have first-hand knowledge of post planning activities. A good knowledge of the industry and developed relationships with others across the wind farm development industry is beneficial.
You will form part of a team delivering excellence in wind farm technical services and will cooperate with other teams that provide Environmental Impact Assessment and planning services. The team also provides technical support to engineering and environmental teams and aids in the direction of technical project teams. You will be supported by strong teams in all aspects of wind farm site finding and environmental assessment.
Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a postgraduate qualification in MSc in Renewable Energy, for Principal Consultant grade, we would typically expect candidates to have around 10 years experience with 5 years experience in the wind industry to have the skills and knowledge to be successful in this role, but depth and breadth rather than length of experience will be considered when making recruitment decisions.
