Senior/Principal Hydrogeologist

My client, an international engineering, geoscience and environmental consultingcompany providing services mainly to the mining, water supply and civil engineering industries is currently seeking a well qualified Senior/Prinicipal Hydrogeologist with at least 5 years experience to join their team in Johannesburg. 

Requirements

• Minimum requirement is a University Honours degree (Master’s preferred) in Hydrogeology
• At least 5 years’ (preferably more) experience in groundwater resource management
• Experience with mining-related hydrogeological investigations. Exposure to the consulting industry and client
• Liaison at a high level are essential, along with the ability to competently write and review reports
• Sound experience in managing projects (including financial aspects).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are also essential. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and results driven.
• Must have a valid passport and be prepared to travel, mostly within Africa.
