Our client is a strong and well established company whose diverse markets have enabled it to grow consistently throughout this economic period. The world’s largest in its field, this organisation can provide some unique and exciting projects to work on, as well as a stable platform upon which to develop your career. You will be expected to manage the geotechnical input to major civil engineering schemes undertaken by the group, and also external commissions with other clients. You will have responsibility for the performance of other more junior members of the team. In addition, you will be required to manage the financial performance, commercial and contractual risks and the successful delivery of projects. A degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology is essential, preferably with chartered membership of a relevant professional body. You should have proven experience since graduation as a geotechnical engineer in some of the following areas: highways and bridges, industrial and commercial, rail, flood defences, and regeneration. You will also be familiar with a range of modern geotechnical software packages. |
