Environment Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior/Principal Ecologist in our Croydon office, to lead operations both technically and commercially.

 

The following experience and skills are essential:

 

·excellent ornithological, botanical identification skills (British flora) and habitat surveying skills;

·competent survey and translocation skills for protected species, in particular herpetofauna;

·a good knowledge nature conservation planning, policy and legislation;

·proven experience in business development and in preparing ecological chapters for EIA reports;

·an ability to provide expert advice on various ecological issues relating to planning;

·applications and infrastructure developments;

·experience in BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes and CEEQUEL; rail work

·full membership of IEEM, chartered status ideal.

·a BSc/ MSc in Ecology / related PhD;

·excellent report writing skills;

·an ability to confidently liaise directly with clients and consultees; excellent project management experience
