Our client is a world-class engineering, management and development consultancy.  This vacancy has recently arisen for a contaminated land specialist with team management and business development expertise.
You will undertake and oversee projects both in the UK and, as necessary, overseas.  Clients will include local authorities, public sector companies, private developers, international institutions and funding agencies.  Projects will cover a variety of areas including site investigation and remediation for major infrastructure and development projects, due diligence assessment for financial institutions and the provision of advice.  In addition, you will be expected to undertake business development activities as well as supporting work generated by other divisions.
This position requires experience of conducting and managing a range of land quality projects covering a variety of areas.  A good understanding of current UK environmental legislation is required, as well as successful experience of business development.  You will also have an appropriate academic qualification, and be expected to show that you have a clear report writing style.
