Natural Power are a leading international renewable energy consultancy with 200 staff located throughout Europe and the Americas. We provide expert services to the renewable energy industry in the development, construction and operational phases of renewable energy projects, principally on onshore and offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects. We have built a successful ethos for providing rigorous technical analysis services and delivering environmentally rewarding projects that allow Clients to reach their economic objectives. The TeamThe Green House has an established and respected team of wind analysts that report to the Technical Director. This team has input into all stages of a wind farms life-cycle from wind farm development through to project finance and construction. We regularly form part of a multi-disciplinary team to carry out due diligence for project investment purposes, or for project acquisition. We work closely with the other international Natural Power technical teams to provide services globally to a wide variety of clients such as: electricity utility companies, banks and financial institutions, independent power producers/owners and a range of industrial companies. The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Wind Analyst from a technical or scientific discipline to join our Technical team based at our global HQ in Dalry, Castle Douglas, in beautiful south-west Scotland. As part of our successful and highly respected technical team, you will be responsible for providing technical consultancy services with sole responsibility for managing projects. Knowledge and skills At a minimum you must be degree qualified in a technical, engineering or scientific area. You will have experience in modeling and analyzing wind resource and site conditions for wind farm sites, with demonstrable understanding of site constraints. You will also be able to demonstrate a background in people management. |
