We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our highly regarded Engineering team in our Toronto office. Our Engineering team provides services and advice in a wide range of water resource management and engineering. These include baseline conditions studies for water flows/volumes and quality, conceptual design of water management systems, water balances, flood mitigation/protection works, and assessment and management of impacts on water resources.

We are contracted for diverse projects ranging in size from small to large scale investigations, assessment and planning projects for mining, quarrying, industrial, urban and infrastructure development for both our public and private sector clients.

To partner with our professional team we are looking for applicants with the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in environmental or civil engineering or sciences
• Experience in either water resources management or engineering disciplines
• Excellent report writing skills and experience
• High level communication and organisational skills enabling effective project collaboration internally, and successful cooperation with private, government agency and public stakeholders
• Ability to work with complex environmental projects requiring strategic thinking and problem solving
• Strong commitment to providing quality outcomes
• Well developed time and project management skills
• Ability to work as part of a diverse and highly cohesive team, including regular liaison with peers and managers
• Familiarity with water management requirements of state and federal legislation is a benefit
