This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented candidate to play a key role in our waste management team. This is a dynamic and successful team that specialises in organic waste management and recycling. The main services are waste processes and permitting, anaerobic digestion, composting, and emissions. Our major clients are within the waste management industry, National and Local Government.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in managing and delivering waste consultancy or research-based advice in relation to organic waste treatment technologies and wider waste processes, and will have expertise in environmental permitting and waste regulation. You will be expected to have an excellent understanding of both waste management processes and will have experience of business development and sales success in the organic waste sector. This post will involve management and preparation of private treaty sales and tenders and consultancy delivery.

Experience and skills
* A graduate (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline.
* Chartered status would be an advantage
* Expertise in the use of advanced organic waste treatment technologies and wider waste processes.
* Expertise in relation to environmental permitting and waste regulation
* At least five years relevant work experience
* Track record of business development and sales
* Strong analytical, report writing and verbal presentation skills.
* To be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK
* A full UK driving licence is essential.

The Position
* Permanent post
* Salary in the range £32,760 to £36,400 depending on experience and qualifications
* Contributory pension
* Non-contributory Permanent Health Insurance
* This post will be office based at one of our locations (Wolverhampton, Oxford, Cambridge, Mansfield, Leeds, Preston) as agreed.
