Senior Sustainability Consultant – Energy Management opportunity located in Chicago, IL
The Shaw Group provides premier engineering, design, construction, and maintenance services to government and private-sector clients in a wide array of industries, including the energy, environmental, infrastructure, and emergency response markets. We are currently seeking the following Senior Sustainability Consultant – Energy Management in our Chicago, IL office.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Energy policy and program professional will help augment the energy management practice of Shaw E&I.
- Responsible for the development of the technical and financial execution of Shaw sustainable energy projects including energy auditing, building commissioning and energy modeling, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
- Performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phases of projects.
- Use creativity and objectivity to perform studies and technical activities to arrive at the most costeffective, reliable technical solution.
- May also support procurement and construction phases or projects with engineering knowledge and experience.
- Performs other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Must have 9-15 years of relevant experience
- Detailed knowledge of energy efficiency and energy management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Energy audit and commissioning skills.
- Energy management planning.
