Together with the other System Integration Team members on the platform, you are:
Technical responsible for the complete turbine
Responsible for setting the product level requirements
Determining the top level system requirements
Responsible that the wind turbine meet the technical specifications
Responsible that the product verification is conducted properly and passes the verification tests
Responsible for leading the design of the turbine and push the technical level for engineers on the project
Responsible to ensure that the quality level in all technical solutions meet the requirements
Responsible to ensure that all parties involved have the required understanding of the objectives for the project
Driving the technological renewal solutions and deployment of subsystems into Vestas Technology R&D
Preparing and owning the product road map based on input from the technology road map and the market road map
Leading the modularization process and ensuring that modules take the complete value chain and future variants into account
Qualifications:
You have a mechanical or electrical engineering degree at either BSc or MSc level
You have thorough experience in technical management/coordination
You have worked throughout the whole value chain in international companies
You have the desire and the ability to understand a wide range of multidisciplinary technical disciplines within a complete wind turbine
You are very conscious about quality
You are familiar with Six Sigma tools
You are familiar with system engineering
You are familiar with requirement management
You are open minded, holistic an innovative and you find it easy to work in a project organisation

You are independent and structured, and you have an infectious sense of humour
You are flexible, enjoy teamwork and you work with a global mindset
Preferably, you have wind turbine knowledge and experience, but we encourage people without wind turbine knowledge and experience to apply for this position as well
