Senior Sourcing Specialist (Solar PV Industry). California, USA. $120k-$165k(Pro Rata) – Urgent Hire!!!

My client  is a global solar PV company, with a strong market presence in Europe and the USA. They are currently looking to recruit a senior sourcing specialist. They looking for the sourcing specialist to source approved suppliers for the skid, (the foundation of a commercial or utility sized solar PV system). The sourcing specialist will have worked in the energy sector and has sourced the parts and units that make up the skid. The sourcing specialist will have contacts in the industry and would be able to hit the ground running, know who to go to for sourcing, and be able to create a new solutions for them very quickly.

Core Criteria:
My client has a very urgent need to fill a high-level sourcing position with a track record in sourcing the parts and units that make up the skid.

Responsibilities:-

• Source new suppliers for the skid
• Negotiating terms and closing deals to achieve optimal cost situation
• Secure the availability of materials and services for the skid
• Lead all purchasing activities for solar Photovoltaic(PV) project development business
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs to achieve sales forecast target
• Perform supplier management to identify the best suppliers and to secure an optimized supply chain
• Ensure all correct procures are followed and all regulations are met

Education:-

• Must have strong educational background

Core Requirements:-

• You will have at least 7-10 years experience, with an excellent track record

• Need to be able to hit the ground running, know who to go to for sourcing, and be able to create a new solutions for them very quickly

• Proven success in strategic and operation roles
• Experienced in management and leadership in procurement roles
• Knowledgeable in procurement processes for solar Photovoltaic (PV) the parts and units that make up the skid

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

• Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, negotiations experience, sourcing experience with a track record sourcing the parts and units that make up the skid the foundation of a commercial or utility sized solar PV system in solar PV projects.
