My Client is a leading multinational, IPP and solar project developer. With projects in South America, Europe and The Far East they are looking to hire someone with extensive contacts in the solar industry in South America who can help them finance solar developments or connect them with a network of companies or local governments to build and develop solar grid sites themselves. 

Position Overview:
 

  • Either based in the chosen area of the project in South America or in Miami, you will be working with some of the biggest players in the energy markets in Latin America and will use your contacts to add value to the company’s portfolio
  • Strategise and design cutting edge engineering solutions
  • Liaise with local governments/small to large scale companies in South/Central America regarding planning permission and bid management
  • Developing market share and ensuring sites are being  managed in accordance with local regulation
  • Marketing and analysis to ensure you always remain market leading in your advice. 


This role requires candidates to have an excellent academic background, but most importantly, contacts in Central/South America. You will also have established yourself in a leading consultancy company, have experience of contract work in the field and be highly respected amongst your peers. The role will suit ambitious candidates looking to gain exposure to all commercial and technical aspects of a project, with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Candidates looking to make a step up into project management / leadership positions will be particularly suited to this position. The role requires the candidate to speak fluent English and Spanish, and to be self motivated to achieve goals.  Primarily based in Central/South America, local residents are preferred but not essential. the successful candidate will be required to participate in some worldwide travel in order to consult on all projects.
