Senior Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project Manager, New Jersey, USA

My client is a leading all-rounded general construction firm that focuses on providing reliable and exceptional quality of design-build, construction, energy and facility services to its residential, commercial and utility clients. Due to their continued expansion are looking to recruit a project manager to be based in NJ focused on renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar (PV).

Responsibilities:-

• Evaluating the market, business, and investment opportunities in the East Coast
• Directed Commercial and Residential Photovoltaic Installation
• Developing new business relationships and managed the relationships with existing business partners
• Liaise with relevant financial institutions

• Negotiating with the relevant parties business contracts and completing and finalising approved contracts
• With the aid of technical assistants supervise all project development, financing, construction, and commercialization

• Manage and supervise all outsourced services and service providers such as legal, financial, and operational
• Site Survey, Rebate & Interconnect, System Design, Inspection, customer management and quotes
• Coordinated purchasing, permitting, and inspections

Requirements:-

• At least 5 years relevant work experience in the solar photovoltaic (PV)  industry with a proven track record within this area
• Strong educational background in Engineering (preferred) or relevant to the PV industry
• Excellent problem solving skills with a track record of developing solutions for PV projects
• Good cash management experience
• NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer
