Senior Scientist & Head of Department of Sustainable Soils and Grassland Systems

You will combine personal scientific standing, as demonstrated by your outstanding research and publication record in soil science and success in competing for grants and other research support, with the strategic leadership acumen that will enable you to be an inspirational head of department. It is likely that you are already operating at professorial/principal scientist level.

The post will be based at Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The post is tenured and will be well supported by appropriate internal resources to provide a long-term research foundation for the post-holder.
