Location: Southwater, Horsham, West Sussex The RSPCA works on a wide range of wild animal welfare issues, relating to both wild and captive environments. The Wildlife Department has a vacancy for a graduate in a biological science discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification and/or relevant work experience, to join a small team that provides the Society’s technical expertise and representation in this area. The post will involve providing technical information and support for Society’s activities in relation to captive wild animals. The successful applicant will be expected to work with the Head of Wildlife Department to ensure that the Society’s policy in relation to captive wild animals is based on a scientific approach. This post is offered on a temporary basis for 12 months. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to animal welfare, excellent presentational and communications skills for a range of audiences, and good computing skills.
