As part of a major investment in a long-term growth strategy, the SEI York Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Fellow. In this role you will develop your internationally renowned research profile in environment & sustainable development to provide new insights that support the transition to alternative pathways to sustainable futures. You will become part of SEI, a leading global research institute working at the interface of environmental research and policy, and contribute to a dynamic and exciting team spread across four continents. You will also benefit from a range of exciting academic developments supporting research in ‘Environmental sustainability and resilience’ within the University of York.

Current priority areas for investment in the York Centre include air quality and climate change, sustainable economies, food security and agricultural policy, human health and wellbeing and behavioural change for sustainable development but we welcome applications from a broader spectrum of research perspectives.

You will have a strong track record in securing competitive policy-relevant research grants, project management, publication and communication, and will be a leading international authority in your specific field.
