URS is currently recruiting a Senior Remediation Project Manager to join our growing Soil and Groundwater department in Ghent, as part of our Belgium Operations.This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a varied range of exciting projects assisting industrial and corporate level clients.Duties will include:
Managing soil & groundwater remediation projects across Belgium within various industry sectors.
Leading, in conjunction with other senior staff, in the development of appropriate remediation strategies for clients and writing high profile technical remediation proposals.
Developing remedial plans in accordance with the regulatory guidelines.
Providing sound opinion and advice on active remediation projects and following up active remediation systems.
You’ll have a relevant qualification and a minimum 8 years of experience in soil & groundwater investigations and remediation, with experience in chlorinated solvents an advantage.A strong technical background, experience in consultancy and fluent Dutch and English languages are all essential requirementsIn return, we offer a challenging role and outstanding career opportunities within a major international environmental & engineering consulting company, with a competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
