Develop and coordinate operational policy and programs, provide guidance and technical support to facilitate the regional delivery of ecosystems and threatened species programs.

Selection Criteria 

1. Sound demonstrated knowledge of the operational and strategic requirements for the successful delivery of ecosystems and threatened species programs in the context of current policy and legislative frameworks.
2. Demonstrated track record in delivering outcomes including through collaboration and negotiation.
3. Proven project management skills including demonstrated time management and organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise competing demands.
4. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills in fostering effective working relationships and promoting organisational initiatives and objectives.
5. High level proven analytical and conceptual skills and ability to develop and apply creative and practical solutions.
6. High level verbal and written communication skills including experience in developing clear and concise advice in the form of briefings and reports on complex issues and in liaising with stakeholders.
7. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and exercise initiative and sound judgement.
8. Demonstrated understanding of government protocols, policies, processes and procedures.
