To be accountable for the successful outcome of projects
Formal project management of all projects both in house develop and EPC contracts including technical, commercial, customer aspects 
Work with MD, Head of Acquisition, Project Purchasing, Construction Management and System Design to ensure that the individual projects within the Company run safely, to time and to budget 
To provide project updates on timescales, costs etc. as and when required by the Company.  

Adopt and improve where necessary the standard juwi project management processes to minimize project risk

 

Personal Specification:


Essential


Previous experience of managing multiple projects within the business working with all relevant departments 
Experience leading and managing projects, taking overall responsibility and ensuring all relevant actions are implemented by self or others
Experience of managing a small team of project managers, including the recruitment, training and development of new employees 
The ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally 
A proven track record in influencing project stakeholders in order to deliver successful projects 
Experience of working within an autonomous role as the candidate will be responsible for decision making and problem solving  
Experience of using project management tools i.e. MS project 
Demonstrable experience of project cost control and reporting  
An understanding of health and safety requirements i.e. CDM regs 
Experience of evaluating processes and making appropriate improvements in line with business

Desirable


Experience of working within a power / construction industry would be advantageous due to the nature of the renewable industry 
Knowledge of the electrical grid and grid connection process 
Experience of renewable energy project development including Planning consent, grid connection 
A formal Project management qualification 
A formal health and safety qualification being  
Other
Willingness to travel to relevant project sites and juwi headquarters will be required in line with business requirements. 
          

In addition to the duties mentioned above, the job holder is required to carry out other duties that are in essence part of his area of activity, according to his knowledge and abilities.
          

This role is based in juwi Solihull office.
