Senior Project Manager, Solar PV, Shanghai, China

My client is a leading manufacturer of mono and multi crystalline solar PV (photovoltaic) modules and owing to internal changes is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager for their Shanghai office.

Role responsibilities:

• This role will involve the management of various processes within the manufacturing plant and the chosen candidate will have significant managerial responsibilities over teams of engineers (process development, fabrication etc)
• You will be expected to place emphasis on economical project management, cost reduction and efficiency
• Time management, schedule planning and quality control
• Reporting to the Head of Engineering on all project management issues and developments

Skills and qualifications needed:

• At least 10 years’ experience in a technical role in solar PV (photovoltaic) manufacturing eg. process development, characterization, fabrication
• At least 10 years’ experience in crystalline silicon
• Able and willing to live and work in China
• Strong leadership profile and excellent work ethic
• Engineering/physics background preferably PHD level.
