Senior Project Manager, Paris, France

My client is a leading international developer working on onshore wind farms throughout Europe, whose list of clients and projects are genuinely world class. They have had substantial success in the development of onshore wind farms and are currently looking to bring on board an experienced Project Manager who will be able to contribute to the continued success of the company.

Position Overview:

The project manager will need to deliver high standards within the environmental field and display exceptional people skills in supporting, leading and developing within the project delivery team whilst helping support both the project management and project engineering teams. A great commercial awareness is required in order to support to the business development of my client’s current accounts along with developing new opportunities, with the highest level of technical expertise in project management required on a day to day basis.  

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Providing support to the project management team
• ·         Providing technical support to engineers and contractors across the wind farm project in order to perform to the highest standard and ensure your growth within the company
• ·         Taking on a senior role in motivating and mentoring those working on the renewable energy project
• ·         Leading a team of project managers across my clients projects
• ·         Offering support to existing clients and expanding the business to new opportunities
• ·         Performing as a leader and managing teams
• ·         Reporting effectively and providing the most accurate account of the projects performance and their ability to be undertaken with in the budget and time frames provided

Education:-

• ·         Must have a strong academic background with a relevant degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering

Core Requirements:-

• ·         A strong background working in the wind energy market
• ·         2+ years of extensive project management experience
• ·         Experience of managing both external and internal stakeholders
• ·         A good level of commercial awareness within the industry
• ·         A strong background working in the onshore energy market with experience in wind projects
• ·         A broad understanding of the commercial renewable energy markets

General Requirements:-

• A good understanding of other sectors of the renewable industry and their environmental impact
• A keen interest in the onshore wind market and a desire to see it progress and be part of its development in the USA
