Senior Project Manager Environment

Working in the Design Development and Environment Directorate of the LDA, the role of Senior Project Manager - Environment is key in tackling London's climate change agenda.

The role is focussed on managing projects relating to energy efficiency improvements across London's public, commercial and domestic buildings and the way in which organisations operate.  You will have experience in managing the technical development phase of medium to large-scale energy projects and particularly the design process from feasibility to technical procurement. You would also be working on other aspects of the LDA's decentralised energy delivery agenda to decarbonise London's energy supply.

Key skills essential to make this role a success are:

• strong understanding of project management.
• strong skills in stakeholder management.
• knowledge of London's environmental issues and the role of energy use in the climate change agenda.

A degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or a similar appropriate degree would be desirable, but not essential.
