SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

The Senior Project Engineer (SPE) is responsible for both project design and managing the design and engineering of small commercial solar photovoltaic projects. The SPE is also responsible for ensuring design quality control through regular interaction with our dealers in the residential space.

The Senior Project Engineer (SPE) will provide project management and design consultation for all projects in the Small Systems business unit. The SPE will be the technical expert for electrical and structural design aspects of the project to ensure engineering integrity, as well as successful approval processes with associated stakeholders. The SPE is also responsible for maintaining a project schedule and ensuring that the engineering work remains on schedule. The SPE will work closely with our operations resources to ensure project execution. The SPE will report directly to the Global Director of Design & Engineering. The position is based out of our Belmont, CA office and travel is expected.
