PECI is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to work on a multi-state program with an established team. This role will work closely with retail and contractor channel teams to manage state level programs within the client’s territory. The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for implementing program deliverables, coordinating with other team members to accomplish work, and assisting in developing / updating budget metrics and processes.
 
Candidates should have extensive experience managing multiple, high-quality deliverables on tight deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills, proven ability to multi-task and attention to detail are essential. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail and solution oriented and team-focused. Background in the energy efficiency and utility business environments is preferred. An understanding of utility regulatory process is a plus.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage State budget to include tracking budget actuals compared with State budget targets, incentive processing, administrative invoicing, and budget metrics
  • Focus on compliance within the State to insure utility and contractual obligations are strictly upheld
  • Lead tariff program design activity for the State to include scheduling, working with cross functional team on measure mix, energy savings, putting the final document together for the client, communicating with the client and improving quality control process
  • Coordination and preparation of State monthly, quarterly, annual reports, and forecast reports
  • Preparation and communication of reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Track measure performance as related to goals, and work with retail and contractor channel teams to ensure State savings actual meet or exceed goals
  • Perform analysis, utilization, effectiveness and efficiency of measures
  • Work closely with management to develop and implement program improvements and direction
  • Create / update process documentation for all responsibilities
  • Support other cross-functional team members as needed
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in project management or coordination required
  • Bachelors degree required, Master’s degree a plus
  • Strong financial and performance management background
  • Advanced/expert Excel skills required, MS Access a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the proven ability to collaborate and work effectively across diverse work groups with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Highly competent verbal and written communications with Word and Power Point skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Practiced ability to communicate with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Ability to think and communicate creatively and strategically with strong problem solving skills and a high attention to detail
  • Experience working under pressure and handling changing priorities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and provide support to all team members
